Restoration is increasing, mainly due to people wanting to know more about their ancestors; old photographs are now kept and hopefully restored to their former glory. Digital imagery may not appear to be the same as the original, but restoration also gives a new life to 'prints'.

22productions can scan up to A3 images and digitally remaster them for their original owners and then represent them as a digital version or printed back to full size. Below is a reproduction of 'The Highland Piper', the original was damaged by broken glass and a scan taken for the restoration process and some colour enhancement to complete the process.
